Saudi Working Environment

Now, here i am in one of the top private companies in Saudi Arabia and I still struggle to prove myself and push the females working here. I was the 1st female and then started hiring the rest and i see that they are much more hungry for success than men (of coarse the situation all around the world)

but one thing bother me is when she gives up, she thinks that she cant do any better and that the system is stronger than her by miles. WHICH IS NOT TRUE! humans make systems and we should be stronger to change them and get these people believe in us and accepting that we are here.

by only showing up and being visible makes a difference

Saudi Lifestyle

I have the opportunity to not live the saudi lifestyle since my mother is foreign (non-saudi) but I do mix around with the community who have the saudi lifestyle going on which clashed with everything i was taught and brought up with. It is funny to me how people think they are right when they might be or might NOT, which they cannot accept. it is either your or I who is right not both and not you.

When I see myself and the people who are around that are succeeding in life and going to achieve things in a country where it wasn’t dreamt of  for females to doing anything but in schools & hospitals, I get this intensifying feeling that makes me feel good that I am a part of this evolution going on in Saudi but then something comes right around and slapped right in the face; waking me up to the reality which is; I and the people around me present only 2%-5% of the saudi population and that we still can find the women who are not allowed to do anything except with approval of “the man in her life” and even after approval she has to be supervised because here you ARE GUILTY TILL PROVEN INNOCENT which is never proven so always the worst is expected from the female “we can bring disgrace to the family” a man once told me when i asked why isn’t he allowing his daughter teach in the institute right next to his house!!
